Fluffing Silicone emulsion PR160

Use: Fluffing Silicone emulsion PR160 is a special organic silicone emulsion and the main raw material of the compounding system of Raising Agent for napped fabric. It can be used for Raising, Shearing & Emerizing finishing of cotton, T/C, polyester, nylon and its blended fabrics. imparts a velvety, soft, smooth and voluminous handle to raised fabric. It can be used in combination with flake emulsion in different proportions according to the fabric condition.

Napped fabric is made through the process of napping, also called raising or brushing. The surface of a flat woven or knit textile is treated with brushes to create a soft, fuzzy texture. Familiar examples include flannel, moleskin, and polar fleece.
Fleece is made by napping a polyester fabric which results in increased thickness and establishing air pockets for insulation. Fleece offers a superior warmth-to-weight ratio in comparison to Merino wool but inferior to goose down or synthetic fill materials.
Napping is a process that may be applied to woollens, cottons, spun silks, and spun rayons, including both woven and knitted types, to raise a velvety, soft surface. The process involves passing the fabric over revolving cylinders covered with fine wires that lift the short, loose fibres, usually from the weft yarns, to the surface, forming a nap. The process, which increases warmth, is frequently applied to woollens and worsteds and also to blankets.

Appearance: Milky white liquid
Solid content:
60%
Ionicity:
non-ionic
PH Value:
6~8
Solubility: soluble in water

Characteristics and Applications:
1. Good soft, smooth, fluffy feel effect, make the fabric easy fluffing

2. It has little effect on the color shade, whiteness and color fastness
3. After finishing, the fabric surface is smooth, plush even, obtains a dense, uniform pile
4. It can be used with most of the silicone softeners and other textile auxiliaries in one bath, widely
used in finishing process

Usage and Dosage:
In the container, dilute the flake with hot water and dissolve it completely. Then, add Fluffing
Silicone Emulsion in proportion, stir it evenly and use it after filtering
1. Polyester loop fabric (Coral pile and polar fleece)
Weak cationic flake 25kg, add PR160 about 50kg, compound to 1000kg; Dosage: 40-50 g/l
2. Cotton knitted fabric
Weak cationic flake 40kg, add PR160 about 70kg, compound to 1000kg; Dosage: 40-50 g/l

3. T/C woven fabric (80/20 or 65/35)
Weak cationic flake 30kg, add PR160 about 70kg, compound to 1000kg; Dosage: 40-50 g/l
4. DTY (Draw texturing yarn) woven fabric
Weak cationic flake 25kg, add PR160 about 50kg, add block silicone emulsion 10-20kg,
compound to 1000kg; Dosage: 40-50 g/l;
For bleached fabric, replace the weak flake with a non-ionic flake
